Robert Perkins is vice president of global talent management at Foot Locker Inc. with global experience and expertise in building leadership and organizational capability. He’s had proven success in collaborating with CEOs, board directors and executives to deliver integrated talent management solutions focused on strategic business alignment. Perkins is widely known as a pragmatist who can translate theory into actionable results and for providing leadership in all aspects of human resources. 

His scope of responsibilities includes executive coaching leadership development, succession planning, talent acquisition, learning and development, organizational capability building, and diversity management. Perkins has coached numerous C-Suite executives, and conducted hundreds of individual and small-group coaching assignments focused on assessment, feedback and support in helping leaders manage through career, leadership and life issues. He has designed executive leadership forums that focus on the most critical business issues and challenges facing industries today including new business designs, the impact of emerging new technologies, and new ways to organize and engage talented people. Perkins frequently partners with business leaders as an internal consultant, and provides a range of assessment tools that help individuals, teams and the organization increase their self-awareness, learning and effectiveness. 

Prior to Foot Locker, Perkins has held various HR leadership positions with Burger King, Sony, Time Warner, Altria (Philip Morris), Kraft Foods and Procter & Gamble. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Illinois.
